Lily Winston Founder and CEO, Wendy Bryant Gow, was recently quoted at Financial Advisor IQ. In the article Wendy gives quick tips on how to dress sharp even when it's hot outside. Wendy offered this advice: 

“This summer, it’s all about clean lines and crisp, vibrant patterns,” says Wendy Bryant Gow, an image and wardrobe consultant in Chapel Hill, N.C. When men get together with clients outside the office, she recommends a patterned, long-sleeved Robert Graham sport shirt or a pastel-colored Peter Millar polo shirt. Forgo baggy pleats in favor of flat-front casual trousers, she adds.

Bryant Gow tells women advisors socializing with clients at after-hours events they can’t go wrong with a vintage embellished tunic, a patterned long blouse in a lightweight fabric or a boho-chic maxidress. If the gathering is really informal, she suggests ankle-length Capri pants or white-denim skinny jeans. She reminds women FAs that higher heels add formality to any look, even if the shoes in question are canvas espadrilles and the heels are wedges.
